Lydia loves to dance and sing ---especially in church. She
doesn’t hesitate to be the first to go before the church at any
opportunity. Now that Lydia is getting older she is starting to
realize there are more responsibilities expected from her that
she doesn’t like. She wonders how much more of the dorm
responsibility, which she doesn’t like, will be hers in a few
years. She would much rather read, color or draw than to fold
her clothes, straighten her dresser drawers or “YUCK” clean
toilets. But she will survive her struggle.
Lydia came to IAA with the first 10 back in 2005 along with
her biological brother George.. They were both very sick and at
one point we thought neither of them would survive. She was the
baby of the bunch and used it to the max. She was always
watched out for by the older siblings and was the queen at IAA.
She loves to giggle and act silly.
